"Cry Me a Beautiful River" Nevermore

So, “Cry Me a Beautiful River I" and "II" don’t exist anymore. These pieces were up at Gallery 815 where I show my work on an ongoing basis. Every time I walked in and looked at them I felt like they needed some more work. So I will post pictures of the works-in-progress tomorrow. More mellowed out color and less of the vertical petal feel. I think with my work I am too eager to finish a piece and move on and I need to spend more time with/on them. I am going to keep working building up the surface and making the color interesting but harmonious.

We also added the modular pieces to the website and the big painting “She Didn’t See Happiness Coming.” We are going to keep working on and refining the modular pieces as we add to the collection.
